Jenna's Virtual Life

Jenna's Virtual Life is a Java-based adult simulation game. You play by living the life of the character: a young woman, named Jenna. The simulation is trying to be as open and as realistic as possible. Depending on the location you are in, there a number of actions available. These actions may be further limited by previously performed actions. However, there is no artificially imposed limitation, thus adding to the realistic nature of the game.

There is no specific goal, other than keeping your character alive (and preferably happy). From time to time, depending on the actions performed you may get in-game goals, but their realization is entirely up to you. Like in real life, you may choose to behave inappropriately sometimes or even get into trouble. How you get out of trouble depends entirely on the next actions you perform.

The game is developed with support gathered from players on Patreon. If you enjoy the game, please contribute to the development effort by becoming a Patron. You will also get access to early releases and exclusive content. https://www.patreon.com/FairyHataka

The game focuses on the woman perspective. Images are rendered in both Scene mode (you can see the character and her surroundings) and in Character POV mode (you can see through your character's eyes in a realistic woman POV, also known as female POV). In this context, POV stands for Point-of-View. In this way you can actually see the game through her eyes. The POV image is rendered with the character placed in exactly the same position as in Scene mode, thus making a very realistic view.

Version 0.1-DEVELOPMENT is just a development version, allowing you to have an idea of the end-game will feel like. There are a number of actions you can perform, but not much is happening. Also the rendered images are not high-res. But in the future versions, there will be higher-res images available.

The game window has several areas:

  • Scene view - shows the scene with the character in it
  • POV view - shows the same scene viewed through the woman's eyes. This is rendered with a camera placed in her eyes, adjusted with the angle of her head. Thus it really shows what she is seeing. In some scenes, this view will include parts of her body, while in other scenes this view will contain only scene or other characters, depending on where she looks.
  • Game status - this area shows character-related stats, including the current day and time. Some actions are restricted to certain time periods (for example going to work). Some other actions are restricted to different player stats, or if performed in different stats may lead to different things happening.
  • Story - this area describes the current scene and sometimes the character's thoughts.
  • Action buttons - here you will find the currently available actions. The actions are presented depending on the location and the character's stats.
The game can be downloaded using the link on the top right of this blog (for the latest public version) or from Patreon for the latest early-access version.

Enjoy !
